This statement covers watertightworthingroofing.co.uk. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (version 2.2) at level AA, the standard most widely used to judge whether a website is usable by disabled people. It was last reviewed on 20 October 2026.
01
How the site is built
- Keyboard use. Every menu, link and button can be reached with the keyboard, and a skip link at the top of each page jumps straight to the main content.
- Screen readers. Pages use real headings in order, tables have proper header cells, and images carry text descriptions or are marked as decoration.
- Colour and text. Text and background colours were chosen and measured for contrast, and text can be enlarged in the browser without the layout breaking.
- Movement. The small fade and lift effects as you scroll switch off completely if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Phones and tablets. Every page reflows to a single column on a narrow screen, with no sideways scrolling.
- Maps. The towns we cover are listed as text as well as shown on the map, so nobody has to use the map to find them.
02
How we checked it
On 20 October 2026 we ran an automated accessibility checker across a sample of the site's page types, including the homepage, a service page, a town page, a guide, an answer, the index pages, the about and contact pages and the privacy policy, at both desktop and phone widths. It reported no violations.
Automated tools catch many problems but not all of them, so we also look at pages by hand as we add them. If you find something we have missed, we want to hear about it.

Parts that may be harder to use
The enquiry form
The quote form is supplied by our enquiry-form provider and sits in a frame inside the page. We give the frame a clear name for screen readers, but the form inside it is built by the provider, so its labels and error messages are outside our direct control. If you have any trouble with it, call 01903 299063 or use WhatsApp instead; both reach the same people.
The Google map
The Google map on our contact page is provided by Google and loads only if you choose to open it. The area we cover is also given as text, so the map is never the only way to find it.
Your quote and paperwork
Quotes and guarantees we send are documents for your own job. If you need one in a different format, such as larger print or read over the phone, ask us.

Getting in touch about accessibility
If you find part of this site hard to use, or you need information from it in another form, email info@watertightworthingroofing.co.uk or call 01903 299063. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will fix the problem where we can and give you the information another way in the meantime.
The same applies off the website. If you would find it easier for us to talk you through the survey pictures on the phone, or to send the written quote in a larger font, just ask.
